I used to think
“I’d better hurry up and get what I want out of this normal life because once I really claim my power, everything changes.”
But things had already changed. I wasn’t playing by the rules, I was making my own. I wasn’t participating in systems, I was leaving them behind. And I realized I was suffering for precisely that reason. I was a planet abandoning its star, expecting to travel to the next galaxy. But a planet can’t direct its own movement through space.
I wasn’t traveling. I was hovering.
It dawned on me: you will be lost to the void when you leave a home star behind unless you become your own. I realized that, even in a “normal life,” there is no getting what I want without claiming my power.
When there is no way I deem worthy, I have no choice but to become the way. If I'm not using the wheel, I have no choice but to fly. When the powers that be are not fit for me, the only power left...
Is mine.
When I rose to meet this truth, one of the most impactful things I learned is that power is an equation and death is the part that most of us are missing. This armed me with the ability to contend with any challenge, and the capacity to revel in any circumstance. It gave me the Skeleton Key.
Now I know: the Key awaits everyone. Whether you take it, and unlock the full breadth of your power, the full breadth of your freedom, is a matter of deciding what story you're telling. If you don't claim your power, you'll be at the mercy of someone else's — drifting through space until some new star ensnares you in its orbit. When you decide that's not the story you'll be telling with this life, you'll find yourself here, with the Skeleton Key in your hands.
And the revelation before you:
chaos is food
fear is a reload
death is the key
death is the key to the crown
reclaim it and no prison can hold you
